Pianist Larry Smith has requested the six premier male vocalists of Key West to allow him to accompany them on Tuesday, February 04, 2025 in the Backstage Listening Room of the Key West Theater. This is a great listening room - able to accommodate the most whisper-soft introspective ballads - and requires little, if any, amplification. These crooners have the option of whispering their lyrics to soft ballads - or belting out aggressively - since the room allows these versitile artistic options. Larry has enjoyed accompanying Peter Diamond, Clayton Lopez, and Denis Hyland for over 30 years. Dave Bootle, Al Romano, and Joe Tripp are Larry's "youngsters" - newcomers of a dozen or so years! Peter Diamond, Denis Hyland, and Al Romano are master interpreters of the great American Jazz Song Book. Clayton Lopez commands a vast soul, Motown, rhythm & blues repertoire. And Dave Bootle and Joe Tripp are exciting singers fluent in a variety of pop, rock, and beyond. Larry Smith promises this to be a significant and entertaining musical experience.
